This year's festival was held under the theme “New Silk Road, New Thinking Route: International Network Dialogue, Resolutions of Divergences and Conflicts.” The theme emphasized the value of communication, cultural exchange, and peaceful approaches to resolving disagreements. It also connected the historical spirit of the Silk Road with modern efforts to strengthen relationships between nations and communities.

The Role of Youth in Building a Peaceful Future

Young people play an important role in creating a more inclusive and peaceful global society. The Peace Garden Peace Festival has a history of supporting youth participation through international cultural initiatives, including the Youth Eyes on the Silk Roads photography contest, organized in collaboration with UNESCO.

These initiatives give young people opportunities to express their views, share creative work, and learn about cultures beyond their own communities. Photography, education, and cultural activities can encourage young generations to appreciate diversity and contribute positively to their societies. Supporting youth engagement is therefore an important part of building a future based on cooperation and mutual respect.
